Part of the docs is exactly meant to take you by the hand and help you 
to get started with Pylons : the tutorials. You should take some time 
reading them (and setting them up), they should answer most of your 
questions.

You can find some tutorials in the home and docs sections of the pylons 
website.

Don't worry if these tutorials don't make use of the components you've 
chosen, you will be able to switch to them later, once you get used to 
the Pylons basics.
