Dear voltron, Routes uses the rules to figure out what controller and action to pass the request to. I can get complicated, but once your request has been passed to your controller routes does very little. I'm not sure what you mean by the standalone html works but a rendered page does not. I'm not familir with jquery (I'll look that up right now), but I would assume the problem your having is with links back to the plugin not working? could you post some example code of what works and what does not?
