Graham has made some headway on a few of the remaining tickets for 0.10/1.0. The other day I fixed up several of the 0.10 deprecation warnings to properly warn about missing things from 1.0. Mike, 'c' will remain in templates in 1.0, 'g' will be app_globals, though one can of course add variables as desired to the Pylons globals in templates if 'g' is still desired. > WebHelpers 1.0b2 will be out next week with the new feedgenerator > code, after I've tested it on my site. I don't think there's any harm in starting a new project in 0.9.7, however I also don't see any harm using the 1.0 branch out of source control, as it passes all the tests, and none of the remaining tickets affect the API's. I recently truncated the ticket list to the last ones that will make it in for 0.10/1.0: http://pylonshq.com/project/pylonshq/query?status=assigned&status=new&status=reopened&group=status&milestone=0.10 They're just bug fixes and doc fixes at this point. If you're familiar with 0.9.7, and read what Mike said about the changes, there shouldn't be any surprises. As for timeline, I'd love to get 0.10/1.0 out by the New Year, we'll see how that works out. :) Cheers, Ben -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "pylons-discuss" group.
