Yes. I have mentioned this elsewhere, but a newcomer like me goes through this process: 1. Google "Pyramid framework". The first hit is http://docs.pylonsproject.org. I've been told that http://pylonsproject.org/ is meant to be the canonical starting page for Pyramid now, but that doesn't even show up on the first page of results. 2. Scan over the docs page and realize I'm already one level too deep. I want to get to a Pyramid overview page, which would probably include a link to the documentation page I'm now on. 3. Click "Pylons" on the orange banner at the top. Nope, that just takes me back to the page I'm already on. 4. Click on the "Home" navigation bread crumb. Also just takes me back to docs.pylonsproject.org 5. Hmm, I wonder what's at www.pylonsproject.org. Aha! It shouldn't be this hard. The lack of a prominent link from docs.pylonsproject.org up to (www.)pylonsproject.org can be easily remedied. Tackling the Google results issue is a bit trickier. Perhaps it would help if the prominent "Pyramid" link on http://bfg.repoze.org/ pointed to http://pylonsproject.org/ and not http://docs.pylonsproject.org/projects/pyramid/dev/. More internal links back to http://pylonsproject.org/ might also help. -David -- David Eisner http://cradle.brokenglass.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "pylons-discuss" group.
