First of all, you don't mention the 2.0 branch at all. Furthermore I 2.2 and
trunk are based on Java Lucene 2.2.
Yes, while the 2.0 branch exists, it's not that interesting since there are no
backwards compatibility breaking changes in Java Lucene between 2.0 and
2.1/2.2. PyLucene 1.0 (based on Lucene 1.4.3) and PyLucene 1.9 (based on
Lucene 1.9) has some significant changes.
