No, it just fails altogether.

Easy -- you do it the old fashion way:

png left.png
turn y,5
png right.png

And then use something like Photoshop or PowerPoint to combine the two
images into a single stereo-pair.  

The above recipe gives you cross-eye.  You'll want to play with the
angle a bit and or negate it in order to do wall-eye stereo.
