There are various settings which can increase the number of triangles. For example, set surface_quality, 1 set cartoon_sampling, 20 However, PyMOL is for the most part simply outputing the geometry it uses internally. So if your VRML viewer can't do as nice a job with the same geometry, then what you're seeing may be a shortcoming of the VRML viewer rather than of PyMOL. Cheers, Warren
