Dear all,
the latest PyMOL, built from source, refuses to display spheres. This
problem occurs with rev 3910 as well as with rev 3909 on 32-bit machines
(RHEL-5.4). It doesn't occur with rev 3909 on 64-bit machines
(RHEL-5.5). (All builds are local in /usr/local/pymol-src.)
fetch 1ubq
as spheres
show spheres, r. hoh
gives a blank screen on the 32-bit machines.
The same problem does not occur on a MacBook (X.6.3, 64-bit) with PyMOL
compiled through fink. Any ideas why this would be the case?
As we're in the process of moving all of our machines to 64-bit, the
problem will go away, but I'm curious if anyone else sees that too.
Thanks.
Andreas
