I believe all versions of Pymol use the 2002 version of the library.

I guess you mean SCWRL3.0, which is not the latest version. Can you tell me
how you know (or believe :-)) this? Is there a way to find out for certain?
Do other versions of PyMOL have the latest SCWRL version?
