Uhm, it's contiguous when I modify whole rows of an array? At least that's what works. I could transpose to modify a whole column and then transpose back. Copying to the host, modifying and transferring back to the device is what I do right now. As you said: lame. I found the setitem() method. That's for single elements only, right? Well, thanks a lot.
