I have a ppcle64+rhel7.6 setup and I have tried multiple ways to install pyopencl, but nothing works. I have python2.7 and python3.6 installed on the machine. To name a few, I tried installing with:
1. pip3: which gives me Pyhton.h error " SystemError: Cannot compile 'Python.h'. Perhaps you need to install python-dev|python-devel. " 2. pip2: which installs it but import doesn't work. Gives me the following error: " Traceback (most recent call last): File "<string>", line 1, in <module> File "/usr/lib64/python2.7/site-packages/pyopencl/__init__.py", line 39, in <module> import pyopencl._cl as _cl ImportError: /lib64/libstdc++.so.6: version `GLIBCXX_3.4.20' not found (required by /usr/lib64/python2.7/site-packages/pyopencl/_cl.so) " 3. install with anaconda: installs it but import says module not found 4. building from source: gives Python.h error (python3) or glibc version error at import (python2) Can someone help me find a straightforward method to install pyopencl on redhat?
