Logging this as a reminder: lib_pypy/datetime.py was deleted on the py3k branch 
because py3's stdlib includes its own, updated version

So the optimizations recently done by bdk on default (various commits, some ref 
#1343) haven't been merged over. They may or may not need to be manually 
carried 
over
