Ideally I'd like to add a test that runs on x86-32 buildbots that have qemu installed, checking that starting the just-compiled pypy on a pentium2 cpu gives the nice error message rather than a SIGILL. I don't know how to do that with qemu, but I'm sure it's not complicated.
