Tonight's SIP and PyQt snapshots will have revised support for signals and slots. This is just a warning that it's a fairly fundamental change and there might be outstanding issues.
The reason for the change is to support queued and inter-thread connections in PyQt4 - which seem to work now. This involves a change to the internal API so everything need rebuilding.
