-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi all,
I've just sent a new pyuic4 snapshot to Phil, which should appear in one of the next PyQt4 snapshots. Bugfixes: - - NoneType/AttributeError regression reported by Detlev New features: - - supports some of the new features of Qt 4.2 (new widgets, QActionGroup) Still untested, testers highly welcome! - - "widget plugins" Module plugins: support for new modules with standard widgets, like QAxContainer on Windows look at uic/widget-plugins/qaxcontainer.py Custom widget filters: generalisation of the pyuic4/PyQwt5 patch from Gerard look at: uic/widget-plugins/qwt.py It is highly likely that both plugins contain errors, because I can only run dry test, thus I will be very happy for testers and patches. Apart from that, everything else should be fine - at least my test suite, which hopefully covers all 4.0 and 4.1 features, runs through without any unexpected errors. Again, more "real-world" ui files are highly welcome! I find it amazing how much fun Python programming is when you are programming Java the whole day at work. Today, I drove one of my fellow workers to madness because I thought about passing HashMap<String, Object>, which is the closest thing that Java has to a dict. And Java does not have a type-safe tuple (even C++ now has one in TR1). best regards, Torsten - -- Torsten Marek <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> ID: A244C858 -- FP: 1902 0002 5DFC 856B F146 894C 7CC5 451E A244 C858 Keyserver: subkeys.pgp.net -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.5 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFFFDeVfMVFHqJEyFgRAoJ5AJ47a/rZFqxf+0K/DRoKgxi5L23+7QCdH6xc mBJG+5WY7kDFcj/uXiKp+fw= =3xma -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ PyKDE mailing list PyKDE@mats.imk.fraunhofer.de http://mats.imk.fraunhofer.de/mailman/listinfo/pykde
