Are you sure you want to use a really old version of Pyro? Version 3
dates to around 2004. There are many bug fixes and enhancements since
then. There are nice windows installers at:

http://pyrorobotics.org/?page=PyroInstallation

in section 1.1.

But if you really want to run any version of Pyro under Windows, you can
 try any version with the instructions at the bottom of that section.
(Instead of getting the source out of CVS, you can get it from
http://pyrorobotics.org/tars/ untar it and then follow those instructions.)
