Your assumption is totally right.
Noo - there might not have been too much communication but development
has still been happening at full speed. I forgot to send a mail about
the current sprint plans at sprint start - the core dev team has been
working on PySide bindings for the Qt 4.6 final release (together with
updated documentation and whatnot) as well as Shiboken signals and slots
implementation. Signals and slots is the final remaining piece of
functionality missing from Shiboken. Once this work is done, bindings
for the different Qt modules (QtGui, QtNetwork, QtXml, etc) can be
created. It'll remain to be seen how long a stabilization period the
Shiboken bindings require, but we hope to have them replace the current
Boost.Python based bindings ASAP.
