Hi All

Symbian currently has the PyS60
<http://developer.symbian.org/wiki/index.php/Python_Technical_Overview>port
of Python by Nokia, which is dependent on native Symbian C++ UI libraries.
Now that Qt is becoming the main UI library, if Python is to survive on the
platform we need to have support for PySide (or PyQt).

I have a number of questions about what has been tried!

1. Has anyone here built PySide for Symbian
if so, with what results?

2. Is there any reason that PySide isn't on the Python package index:
http://pypi.python.org/?

3. Is Nokia still investing development resource in this project? If so, can
whoever is in charge of the team doing so please contact me?

4. As much as any open source project has leadership, can the leaders please
contact me to discuss what we can do to support Symbian as a platform?

Regards
Hamish
