Hi,
ditto, using OS X 10.6, Python 2.6.1 and tried with both Qt 4.7.1 and 4.7.2.  
pyside-1.0.0-beta5-qt47-py26apple.dmg   OK
pyside-1.0.0-rc1-qt47-py26apple.pkg     Error: Symbol not Found
pyside-1.0.0-qt47-py26apple.pkg         Error: Symbol not Found
