Pardon if the assumption is wrong but QtMobility is addressed to
mobile devices and the like right?

How can an embedded linux take advantage of it?

My reason for this question is because I tried pyside's examples and
one of the examples is sysinfo which can show the mobile cell the
mobile device is connected to for example.

At the time of the test, I had a 3G USB modem connected to my laptop
and it was not detected by the example code.

Can it ever be detected?

It detected my bluetooth support which is a pcie card on my laptop for
example, it's not a built-in device, it's somewhat an external device.

So, where does QtMobility get's its info from?

Where can I read more about this kind of support?

Best regards,
Pedro Algarvio.
