Thanks for your reply. Here's the screenshot (http://dl.dropbox.com/u/45079992/Screenshots/5a1t.png) of the OS X menubar when I run this code http://pastie.org/3014228

I only have 'Python' in the menu.

I am afraid you are looking at the wrong place. In Mac, menu items are not

QtDesigner is an exception of the rule, because it is easier to work that way.
But once the app is running, it will behave like a native Mac app. Just click
your app and look at the very top of your screen. Your menus should be there

Hi

I've got an odd problem, menus don't display for me. I've got pyside 1.09 and
qt 4.7.4 on a old macbook pro with snow leopard.

Here's a screenshot (http://dl.dropbox.com/u/45079992/Screenshots/r84e.png) of
what I get when I run this demo code (http://pastie.org/3014228) that came from
one of the tutorials.

Even in QtDesigner I can add a menu to a widget but when I preview it the menu
is gone, this makes me think it's a Qt problem rather than pyside directly. Any
suggestions?

Thanks
