I've seen Trolltech recommend pythonqt as a way to embed python and Qt into a C++ app http://doc.qt.nokia.com/qq/qq23-pythonqt.html). With the development of pyside, it seems targeted as an equivalent of pyqt, neither of which seem to have anything to do with embedding python.
