No, what we are migrating until now is the Pro version of PyTables. When we will finish it, then we will start to work on PyTables 2.0 which will be based on Pro version, but with some functionality removed (like the new cache system and the new indexation engine). PyTables 2.0 will be released under the regular BSD license, as usual. We hope this step will be made in late November, but cannot make promises.
