Will do. In the meantime, I tried 2.2b1 as well, and setting
PYTABLES_SYS_ATTRS=False when I open the file. Neither solved the
problem. (Though with the latter it skips the
Rootgroup._g_getLChildAttr call and crashes on
tables.group.utilsExtension.whichClass.)
