I've used my new developer privileges to check in some fixes. I'm down
to three failing unit tests on my WinXP (SP2 i386 German, inside a
VMWare sandbox).
3 tests failed:
test_csv test_mailbox test_netrc
All remaining failures are caused by newline madness.
