This isn't port or borrowing of pyXLWriter (it knows only BIFF 5/7) or Perl::Spreadsheet::WriteExcel. My package is written from scratch. I'm working now on support of Esher layer in Excel files. I implemented also from scratch writing of MS Compound Documents. In addition package contains BIFF8 dumper and OLE2 files dumper.
