One day I was bored with MineSweeper not doing even simple analysis for me, and wrote it in Python. Then I realized it'd be nice as an exercise: I give you an implementation of dumb MineSweeper, with GUI, and you subclass it to make it smarter. It comes with a detailed document guiding you step-by-step.
