Category: Documentation Group: Python 2.4 Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: George Yoshida (quiver) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: C API doc for PySequence_Tuple duplicated Initial Comment: Python/C API documentation for PySequence_Tuple is duplicated. http://docs.python.org/api/sequence.html $ grep -n PySequence_Tup Doc/api/abstract.tex 781:\begin{cfuncdesc}{PyObject*}{PySequence_Tuple} {PyObject *o} 812:\begin{cfuncdesc}{PyObject*}{PySequence_Tuple} {PyObject *o} One says:: Returns the o as a tuple on success, and NULL on failure. This is equivalent to the Python expression "tuple (o)". The other says: Return a tuple object with the same contents as the arbitrary sequence o. If o is a tuple, a new reference will be returned, otherwise a tuple will be constructed with the appropriate contents. They need to be merged. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=105470&aid=1323739&group_id=5470 _______________________________________________ Python-bugs-list mailing list Unsubscribe: http://mail.python.org/mailman/options/python-bugs-list/archive%40mail-archive.com
