Please try installing again". (Which doesn't work.) I noticed that at the same moment it does this, Console.app's console.log window adds the following line: 2006-09-14 19:12:21.568 Installer[1884] Exception raised during posting of notification. Ignored. exception: Some files for PythonApplications-2.5 may not have been written correctly. (code 1) I've also determined that if I try installing again, but this time click Customize on the Installation Type screen, then uncheck "GUI Applications 2.1MB", the installation proceeds successfully.
