New submission from Giampaolo Rodola' <g.rod...@gmail.com>: At the current state asyncore implicitly supports TCP (SOCK_STREAM) sockets only, despite UDP support might be added in the future. For simplicity, create_socket() should assume TCP/IP by default. This would avoid the user to "import socket" and specify the two constants every time, which is annoying.
