Anyway, trust us that argparse in the 3.3 stdlib is the place where development happens. (The Python Subversion repository is now dead.)
As for the tracker, well, its use of HTTP and URIs is somewhat idiosyncratic. It’s far from perfect and definitely not as elegant or REST-compliant that one could wish for.
