Tal Einat <talei...@gmail.com> added the comment: I'd just like to weigh in and say that this is a major issue for me at the moment. Not being able to indiscriminately pickle/unpickle exceptions is making my parallel-processing work very painful, because of problematic stdlib exceptions.
I'm surprised this hasn't been fixed way back in 2.x.
