Ezio Melotti added the comment: I think/hope that all the APIs we have in the stdlib are sane enough to have no more than 2-3 signatures (I'm not counting optional args (at the end) here). If that's not the case we should still be able to add as many signature as we need (I don't know if Sphinx has some limit about it though).
