Warsaw added the comment: I'm working on applying the 2.x patch to 2.6, but one thing interesting of note: sudo, at least on Debian and derivatives going back at least to Squeeze, generally reset the environment by default (i.e. env_reset). So you'd have to either have disabled env_reset in sudoers or use `sudo -E` the exploit.py.
