Larry Hastings added the comment: Talked it over with Victor in IRC. I agree it's best to only add the WithFilenameObjects functions, as best practice requires using the original PyObject * passed in when creating the OSError.
The attached patch removes all the new WithFilenames and WithUnicodeFilenames functions.
