Chris Angelico added the comment: Oops, I was reading off the wrong piece of code. It's not "distinctly different", actually; it's just different enough that the patch fails. The only difference is that in 3.4 the headers are Unicode strings (so the content gets encoded and decoded). My bad. Will attach a modified patch file that works on 3.4 (is it considered bad form to provide a diff for a patch file?).
