But the people who discussed this on #python-dev all felt a bit queasy about the "60" fallback -- this is what caused the bug in the first place on Guido's and my machine. (A value of 60 was assumed; 100 would have been correct.) Having no such fallback would be preferable, unless it's necessary. You use Windows, right? Can you test if that fallback is necessary there?
