Drekin added the comment: I think that boxes are ok, it's just missing font. Without active workaroud there is just UnicodeEncodeError (with cp852 for me). There is problem with astral characters – I'm getting each box twice. It is possible that Windows console doesn't handle astral characters at all – it doesn't interpret surrogate pairs.
