Mark Roseman added the comment: I wrote a short utility that parses TextMate XML-based theme files (which are also used by Sublime) and converts them into something IDLE can use. It's not a perfect match, because IDLE's themes are more restrictive, but it's not bad.
I'm attaching the output of the script (config-highlight.cfg), which was able to translate 17 themes.
