suddha sourav added the comment: I reported the issue in 2012, and it's not nice to see that in four years the flagship editor of Python in all platforms I know is still something I have to avoid. I am not writing this mail to vent; I'm asking: what can we do, and through which channels we can go, for a quick solution? I am unfamiliar with the structure of issue resolving in Python, maybe Ned can help?
