R. David Murray added the comment: Can we at least make it part of the documentation? It's not obvious to me, at least, how to do it. (Maybe I just haven't thought about it carefully enough.) For that matter, it wasn't obvious to me it could even be done, so I've been passing loop everywhere in my code rather than thinking about how to avoid it; which is another argument for documenting it at least.
