I don't think I understand you. There's no difference in the Python code we're using in both cases. The only differences, AFAIK, are in the Python interpreter and in the Linux distribution. It will be hard to do that, because the code is so complex, and because debugging in the multiprocessing context is so hairy. Still, it's the only approach I can think of, too. Sigh.
