Christian Heimes added the comment: I have pushed all deprecation except ssl.wrap_socket(). Nick raised some concerns. I like to discourage people to use it because it hurts performance and is no longer best practice. How about we mark the function as legacy function and move it to a less prominent place in the documentation?
