Guido van Rossum <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> added the comment: I like Armin's latest proposal: have Py_TPFLAGS_DEFAULT include Py_TPFLAGS_HAVE_VERSION_TAG when compiling the core only. ISTR there's a way to do this, but I can't find it right now.
