New submission from ALPER PAKSOY: IDLE 3 crashes and quits whenever I type the caret (^) character in the editor. I have to copy and paste the caret character into the IDLE editor whenever I have to use the caret character. I have the IDLE 3.6.2 running on macOS Sierra (v10.12.6) on mid-2011 27" iMac. Attached is an example error log generated when IDLE 3 crashes after the typing of the caret character.
