New submission from Stefan Krah <ste...@bytereef.org>: This is related to #27987 and #20064 and perhaps the pymalloc patch from #18835.
I think PyMem_Malloc() should guarantee alignof(max_align_t). It actually did before the "#define PYMEM_FUNCS PYOBJ_FUNCS" optimization, so we have a sort of regression here. ---------- components: Interpreter Core messages: 305320 nosy: skrah priority: normal severity: normal stage: needs patch status: open title: PyMem_Malloc() should guarantee alignof(max_align_t) type: behavior versions: Python 3.4, Python 3.5, Python 3.6, Python 3.7 _______________________________________ Python tracker <rep...@bugs.python.org> <https://bugs.python.org/issue31912> _______________________________________ _______________________________________________ Python-bugs-list mailing list Unsubscribe: https://mail.python.org/mailman/options/python-bugs-list/archive%40mail-archive.com
