Your best option to get timely help information about installation is to visit one of the support channels for Python: - python-help mailing list https://www.python.org/community/lists/ - #python IRC channel https://www.python.org/community/irc/ First, make sure that your system is a 64 bit system. The installer that you reference will not work if you are using a 32 bit system. Double check that you have all Windows updates installed.
