Florian Weimer <fwei...@redhat.com> added the comment:
I wouldn't bother with POSIX_SPAWN_USEVFORK on GNU/Linux. Current versions of glibc always use a vfork-style clone call, so there would be a difference on older versions only. But there, the vfork code has subtle bugs, so using POSIX_SPAWN_USEVFORK there is not a good idea, either. ---------- nosy: +fweimer _______________________________________ Python tracker <rep...@bugs.python.org> <https://bugs.python.org/issue34663> _______________________________________ _______________________________________________ Python-bugs-list mailing list Unsubscribe: https://mail.python.org/mailman/options/python-bugs-list/archive%40mail-archive.com
