So is that a no for a regular .zip release here? https://www.python.org/downloads/windows/ Don't get me wrong I'm all for options, I just don't get why there is no simple tool-less binary archive for Windows. Why are the only options different variants of installers or additional tools? Why do I need to fetch another tool just to fetch Python? If this is the final decision then I recommend at least mentioning NuGet prominently on here: https://www.python.org/downloads/windows/ (as an alternative to the so-so regular windows installer, since while that one works well enough for a manual install, for an automated one it's just not that ideal) ---------- _______________________________________ Python tracker <rep...@bugs.python.org> <https://bugs.python.org/issue36010> _______________________________________ _______________________________________________ Python-bugs-list mailing list Unsubscribe: https://mail.python.org/mailman/options/python-bugs-list/archive%40mail-archive.com
