Aaron Gallagher <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> added the comment: I can't reproduce this on python 2.5.1, 2.5.2, or 2.6.0 on Mac OS 10.5.4. Both .read() and .readline() raise an EBADF IOError. 3.0.0 fails in the same way.
